1984 - Energy Electric Assembly started with one location in the US.

 1999 - Empire started producing various cable assemblies in Michigan.

 2003 - Empire and Energy Electric Assembly acquired operations into a 62,000 sq. ft facility in Auburn Hills, MI.

 2004 - Sales expansion into western Michigan.

 2005 - Sales representatives added in Alabama and Georgia.

2006 - Opening of Empire Del Sol, low cost assembly facility located in Aguascalientes, Mexico
